Handyman+ is a curated managed marketplace for home and property work: Browse Professionals or Start a Project. Independent provider companies perform trade work. Verification depth depends on program and status—do not assume a badge equals a government license.

Platform standards

We expect clear communication, accurate listings, and honest scope on projects. Documentation you upload (photos, PDFs) should relate to the work you are discussing. Misrepresentation may result in account action per Terms.

Verification & checks (by program)

Different products apply different checks. Public provider profiles only show approved business fields—never personal contact, banking, or raw compliance files. “Verified” language appears only when documented checks exist.

Examples

Provider companies: interest → secure verification before public listing; directory and portfolio moderation apply when those surfaces are live.
Customers: Request a Quote and messaging stay in-platform; you choose a company or authorize Handyman+ to choose best fit after options are released.

Licensing

Regulated trades in Florida (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) must be performed by appropriately licensed professionals. Handyman+ may help route or document conversations; providers remain responsible for compliance and permits. Customers are never asked to pick a license category in intake UI.
